We are thrilled to announce that our Anime and Manga Club has been awarded a grant for the third consecutive year, marking another successful milestone in our journey to enhance the diverse talents of our members. Our goal is to explore and learn from a global perspective, with a particular focus on Asian culture, to enrich the experiences of our students.

This year, we seek funding to provide manga (books) for students in grades 6-8. This initiative not only aligns with English language arts and social studies standards but also embraces and celebrates world cultures, heritages, languages, food, people, literature, art, and digital media. By offering these resources, we aim to foster a love for reading and learning, boost literacy skills, and increase social and emotional awareness among our students.

With the support of this grant, our club has successfully strengthened literacy skills, advanced reading comprehension, and cultivated an appreciation for diverse cultures. The project has provided a platform for students of all ethnicities, races, genders, socioeconomic statuses, and exceptionalities to come together and share their interests. By continuing to support our Anime and Manga Club, we hope to further enhance students' understanding and appreciation of world cultures, fostering a more inclusive and enriched learning environment.
